ELD is a device required by law to track the number of hours drivers spent on duty. Due to the ELD mandate, startups introduce platforms which integrate the required feature of tracking working hours and adding other benefits such as vehicle inspections and fuel tax reporting. US-based startup KeepTruckin, for instance, produces certified ELDs. It tracks all vehicle data and prepares DOT audits, prevents legal violations, and stays compliant in remote locations.
GoBolt – Vehicle Planning Software
Data analytics and IoT startups offer smart vehicle solutions regarding route optimization and planning as well as optimization for vehicle load. For example, Indian startup GoBolt enables the auto-allocation process including the asset optimization and minimization of dry runs. Their device makes decisions on the basis of gathered data such as routes, vehicle availability, delivery planning, and reduction of transit timing.
Asset Trackr – GEO-Fencing Device

This includes location monitoring, fuel consumption, and alerts about delays with the support of a smart GPS tracking device.
Vnomics – Fuel Analytics & Optimization IoT
Fuel analytics are essential for fleet managers to get detailed reports about fuel consumption, analyze a driver’s manner, and reduce costs for fuel. The US-based startups Vnomics develops True Fuel, a comprehensive device, which analyzes fuel consumption. It goes into further detail by measuring waste and the exact fuel usage and coaches drivers in real-time on proper fuel management.
