Polish startup PianPol provides polyurethane-based sprayed thermal insulation systems. The startup uses airless spraying to insulate all objects, residential buildings, and industrial and agricultural facilities. The insulation material consists of a mixture of two components in the head of the spray gun. This becomes a reactive substance that quickly foams and hardens to create a uniform and monolithic surface. Unlike traditional insulation materials, the startup’s polyurethane foam is neutral to the environment, does not cause allergic reactions, and is non-conductive to the growth of mold and fungi.

Hottrok provides Under Floor Heating

US-based startup Hottrok produces a tiling substrate that performs as a warm wire carrier with insulating properties. The board-like material is rigid, easy to cut, easy to fasten, and readily accepts most heating cables with its in-grooves. The material called Hottrok is composed of a mixture of expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam with high chemical resistance to alkalis and acid while being highly resistant to humidity. Moreover, the material offers better thermal and acoustic insulating qualities than other conventional insulating materials. This allows buildings located in colder regions to quickly, easily, and economically integrate insulation systems into their infrastructure while minimizing energy usage.

HTK Synergie creates Acoustic Insulation Systems

Unlike traditional partition walls, their insulating walls offer privacy as well as protection from fire hazards as well.

Everuse provides Upcycled Insulating Materials

Dutch startup Everuse produces upcycled building materials from cellulosic waste. The startup’s EverUse Insulation System uses a combination of cellulose insulation and plasterboard to provide both acoustic and thermal insulation.
